NOTES TO NURTURE
Released January 2023
All “Notes to Nurture” instrumental pieces came from nurturing melodies from my past or from what nurtures me today. For example, ‘Velvet’ is the memory of a thick velvet curtain hanging between rooms in my grandparents house while ‘Note to Self’ is about my journal process. The notes of ‘Poeme’ were deliberately chosen as a poet chooses words for their beauty and sound and ‘Crowning Light’ is the memory of the sun warming the back of my head at the beach growing up in my native Australia. ‘Hush’ is the memory of an African baby swinging in a tree and ‘Violet’ is about the possibilities of love in marriage reflecting on 3 generations of women in my family.

BEING.
Released September 2022
Being. is re-imagined instrumentals from my previously released songs featuring solo violin. The songs are from my albums “This Your Song” and “Rather Have You Wild”. The title is taken from the scripture: “In God we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28)

Rather Have You Wild

Rather Have You Wild is a collection of instrumentals and songs. The songs travel through forgiveness, true beauty, creativity and finding home again and reflect my own personal journey. The instrumentals were born in live, spontaneous violin moments in worship sets.
